3. Attorney-Client Privilege
Communications between you and your attorney through our Platform may be protected by attorney-client privilege. LawyersNearMe does not access, monitor, or review the content of attorney-client communications. Our role is limited to providing the technology infrastructure for secure communication.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored using industry-standard encryption. Documents are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.
5. Data Sharing
We share your information only with: (a) attorneys you choose to connect with, (b) payment processors (Stripe) for transaction processing, (c) service providers who assist in operating the Platform, and (d) as required by law or legal process.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can export your data at any time through your account settings. Upon account deletion, we retain data for 90 days before permanent deletion, unless required by law to retain it longer.
